About the Founders

Mica and Loza met on freshman move-in day at George Mason University, when they discovered that they were suitemates. After years of friendship strengthened by dorm room shenanigans, cleaning their shared living space, and toiling over their communications degrees, they discovered a mutual love for event planning - and thus, Cherish & Charm was born!

Mica graduated with a BA in Communication, concentrating in Public Relations, as well as a minor in Marketing. She brings years of event planning experience to Cherish & Charm, managing, designing, and/or coordinating several weddings, retirement parties, corporate events, and more.

Loza holds an MA in Arts Management and a BA in Communication, concentrating in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication. Her experience lies in nonprofit event coordination, working with donors and vendors to guarantee memorable moments.

Cherish & Charm was founded on a simple premise: getting together with the ones you love should be easy, memorable, and special. As a small team, we are devoted to making sure the characteristics that make you YOU are reflected in your event design. Not only are we well-versed in the art of translating words and ideas into reality - we genuinely enjoy it! And we want you to enjoy the process too. That’s why we take the time to get to know our clients, ensuring that each conversation is open and honest, and each detail is chosen with intention.
